Dress Code
At Quantum Dance Studio, we encourage students to wear clothing that is comfortable, allows freedom of movement, and supports safe dance practice. Proper attire helps dancers perform their best and reduces the risk of injury.
General Guidelines:
Wear clothing that fits well and allows full range of motion (e.g., activewear, leggings, dance pants, fitted tops, leotards).
Avoid overly loose or baggy clothing that could interfere with movement or become a safety hazard.
Footwear should be appropriate for the style of dance being taught (e.g., ballet slippers for ballet classes, jazz shoes or bare feet for other classes). Specific footwear requirements may be communicated by instructors.
Hair must be pulled back and away from the face.
Warm-ups are acceptable at the beginning of class until dancers are warmed up.
Ballet Classes:
Female Dancers should wear a leotard of any color, pink tights, and ballet shoes with their hair in a bun.
Male Dancers should wear all Black fitted top/tank with shorts or pants with ballet shoes.
Dancers should follow the dress code that best aligns with their gender identity.
Ballet accessories are welcome.
Hip Hop Classes
Only permitted in hip-hop are t-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants.
We appreciate your cooperation in following these guidelines to help create a professional and productive dance environment.
